Three roofing systems, executed like one accountable crew.
TPO, EPDM, and metal roofing for commercial, institutional, and public facilities — engineered for durability, energy efficiency, and zero operational downtime.
TPO
TPO Single-Ply Roofing
Reflective, heat-welded TPO for schools, municipal, and commercial buildings — fully adhered or mechanically fastened over new insulation, installed by manufacturer-certified crews under dedicated EXO project management.
Proven EPDM re-roofs and new installs for school districts, public-safety facilities, and retail — with clean flashing at curbs, penetrations, and roof edges, and tie-ins to existing roofs on occupied buildings.
Standing-seam and panel roofs, copings, gutters, and sheet-metal flashing — built for wind, snow load, and long-term performance on public and commercial buildings.
Every roof is a system, not a single product. Pick one to see what goes down between your deck and the weather on every EXO job.
01
Structural deck
Steel or concrete deck, inspected and repaired before anything goes down.
02
Polyiso insulation
Two layers with staggered joints, or tapered to drain. Sized to the energy code.
03
Cover board
Gypsum or high-density board that protects the insulation from foot traffic and hail.
04
TPO membrane
60 or 80 mil, fully adhered or mechanically fastened, every seam heat-welded and probe-checked.
05
Parapet flashing
Membrane turned up the wall and over the top, so the edge is as watertight as the field.
06
Metal coping
Formed metal caps the wall and sheds water clear of the flashing.
Roof Details
Leaks start at the details.
Most leaks start at edges, curbs, penetrations, and drains, not the open field of the roof. Here’s how we build each one on every job.
Edges
1 Stripping ply
2 Gravel stop
3 Fascia
4 Wood nailer
Gravel Stop & Edge Metal
Edge metal is fastened to a wood nailer and the membrane is stripped in over its flange. It locks down the perimeter, where wind uplift starts.
1 Sloped coping
2 Wood nailer
3 Membrane flashing
Parapet Coping
The membrane runs up the wall and over the top onto a nailer, then a sloped coping caps it, so water drains back onto the roof instead of down the face of the building.
1 Drip edge
2 Hanger
3 Gutter
4 Wood nailer
Gutter Edge
A drip edge carries water off the membrane and into the gutter, which hangs on spaced hangers so it stays tight to the fascia under load.
1 Counterflashing
2 Reglet + sealant
3 Termination bar
4 Base flashing
Counterflashing at Walls
Where the roof meets a taller wall, the membrane turns up and is held with a termination bar. Metal counterflashing set in a sealed reglet covers its top edge so water can’t get behind it.
Curbs, Penetrations & Drains
1 Curb
2 Base flashing
3 Unit base rail
4 Rooftop unit
Curb Flashing at Rooftop Units
The membrane runs up the curb and over the top before the unit sets down, and the unit’s base rail laps over it as counterflashing. The mechanical work stays outside the roof’s water path.
1 Pipe boot
2 Clamp + sealant
3 Boot flange
Pipe Penetrations
Every pipe gets a pre-molded boot with its flange welded or taped into the field, and a stainless clamp and sealant at the top.
1 Tapered insulation
2 Sump
3 Clamping ring
4 Strainer dome
Roof Drains & Sumps
Tapered insulation and a recessed sump pull water to the drain, and a clamping ring locks the membrane into the drain body under the strainer dome.
1 Curb
2 Cricket
3 Water path
Crickets Behind Curbs
A curb set across the slope dams water on its high side. A cricket built from tapered insulation splits the flow and sends it around, so nothing ponds against the curb.
How We Can Help
From full tear-offs to the leak that can’t wait.
Replacement & New Roofs
Tear-Off & Replacement
Complete removal down to the deck, deck inspection and repair, then new insulation and membrane — phased around occupied buildings and school calendars.
New Roof Installation
New construction and additions, including clean tie-ins to existing roofs — sequenced with your superintendent and the rest of the trades.
Re-Cover Systems
Where code and conditions allow, a new membrane installed over the existing roof — less disruption, less waste, and a faster schedule.
Coatings & Restoration
Silicone and acrylic restoration systems that extend the life of an aging roof and improve reflectivity — a budget-friendly alternative to full replacement.
Repairs & Rooftop Work
Roof Repairs
Targeted repairs to membranes, seams, flashing, and edge metal — diagnosed on site, documented with photos, and completed to manufacturer standards.
Sheet Metal & Roof Edge
Copings, gravel stops, gutters, downspouts, and counterflashing — as part of a re-roof or as a standalone scope.
Curbs & Penetrations
Flashing for new HVAC units, vents, pipes, and solar mounts — so mechanical work doesn’t compromise the roof or its warranty.
Inspections & Condition Reports
Photo-documented roof assessments with a prioritized repair and replacement plan — built to support capital budgets and bond planning.
Emergency Leak Response
Active leak or storm damage? We prioritize the call, make the building watertight with a temporary dry-in, then scope the permanent repair.
